House buying can be difficult and confusing as for most of us, it is either something we've never done before or very infrequently. It is also usually the biggest single purchase that we will ever make by a considerable margin. What I've done here, is put together my experience of buying a house as well as information on the different types of mortgages which are available in hopefully a sensible, easy to understand format.

On top of this hopefully useful and valuable information provided on this site, there is also a listing of all the Estate Agents who have offices on the Wirral. Hopefully I haven't missed any out.

If you're buying a house on the Wirral, then unless you go through the ads in the local papers, then you're going to have to spend a lot of time dealing with these Estate Agents. You must remember that they are working for the person selling the property not the person buying the property.

If you're looking to buy a house in Scotland, then this isn't the right place for you. The house buying process in Scotland is very different to England and Wales.

It is important to mention that I'm not an expert in house buying, I have no formal qualifications other than having been through the process of buying a house. As always, you should talk to accredited Financial Advisor and Estate Agents who are qualified. That said, I still think that this site should answer some of the more common questions that many people want to know.
